Admittedly, making cooking easier was initially a rather self-serving endeavor. Jürgen Alianz, a passionate cook, was dissatisfied with the equipment in his kitchen and began to develop his own cookware, and he did so without sparing any expense or effort. For example, he had freshly cast blanks shipped from Sauerland to Switzerland – because the specialists in Valais were simply the best when it came to sealing. A business economist would probably have shaken their head in despair – Jürgen Alianz only cared about the quality of his products.

When many companies moved their production to Asia at the beginning of the 2000s, Alianz consciously decided against this trend. For him, it was not about producing high volumes and cheaply. But rather high-quality and sustainable.
